Straight answers
Before you call.
Every job starts the same way. Ben walks the house with you, looks at what is actually going on under the floor or behind the frame, and sends a written quote that says what will be done and what it costs. The crew turns up when they said they would, keeps the site tidy, and cleans up before they leave. That is the whole system.
Do you take on small jobs?
Yes. A sticking door, a rotted stump, a run of skirting. Small repairs are a normal part of the week, and they get the same treatment as a full deck: Ben quotes it, the crew does it properly, the site is left clean. If it is too small for us, we will tell you on the phone.
Are you licensed?
Bernard Building holds QBCC licence 15357497. Ben has 12 years in construction and quotes every job himself, so the person pricing the work is the person responsible for it. You can check the licence on the QBCC register any time.
